Snow!

Chapel Hill got 7 inches of snow!
Rylee loved...
...getting her Daddy...

...with snowballs!

Landon loved the snow...

...and the sled...
...even though his nose was froze by the end!
We all took turns sledding down a great hill in our neighborhood. It was the first time in years that the sledding conditions were actually fantastic and not just by NC standards. It really was a blast! Rylan said it perfect: "its not often the grown ups are playing just as hard as the kids!" But yesterday we did.

The funny thing was that last night Rylan and I went to see Mama Mia. We were supposed to go to dinner beforehand but the Weathervane, the restaurant where we had our dinner reservation, was closed. We figured something more casual would be open so we left the house hungry. But everything was closed. Everything. There wasn't even a drive thru or a grocery store open. But here we were going to a musical that probably should have been canceled but wasn't. But we were glad it wasn't because it was fabulous! What a great day!

I loved this post! Your kids are like the most beautiful kids I have ever seen and I am not just saying that! All of these pictures should be in like "the Children's PLace" or something. I hope your birthday was great and I'm so sorry I missed you. Love you!

What fun! That picture of Landon on the sled is adorable. Who even has sleds like that, anymore? Glad your show wasn't cancelled!
