June 20th

Meet Evelyn Anne Leonard.
One of my best friends in the world gave birth to her first child on Friday, a perfect baby girl. Renee had to have a Cesarean after 22 hours of labor. Then there were serious complications with the C-section. Poor mom! Yesterday we were able to visit. We are so grateful that in the end both mom and baby are doing and looking great. Evelyn definitely has that beautiful c-section baby look. She's just perfect.

Renee is a natural.
Joel, Renee's hubby, gets to spend his first Father's Day in the hospital with his beautiful wife and baby girl. What a lucky guy!

One proud auntie!
Landon looked huge in comparison to Evelyn. I can't believe he was that small only 5 months ago. They grow up so fast!
After going to the hospital we went to Mike and Hillary's Wedding reception. Hill, another BFF from high school, looked beautiful, and the reception was so lovely. She is such a classy lady!

I was so happy that Holly, another great friend from HS, got to meet our little Landon, especially when she announced the fact that she herself is 15 weeks pregnant!
June 20th turned out to be one of the greatest days of my life! In one day, I met Renee's new baby girl, celebrated Hillary's Wedding and found out that Holly is prego! And to top it off I had my 2 best guys with me...how lucky can a girl(friend) get!

Heartbreaker!

When Landon is tired or hungry or sad he makes this face:
It makes you feel like his feelings have been hurt in the deepest way possible.
It almost breaks my heart every time.

Sometimes I think he is fully aware of this fact.

I mean seriously, could he protrude his lower lip any further?
Rylee seems to be catching on to the fact that this may hold the secret to getting your way. But she has got to work on the eyes...her eyes look much too happy (she burst out laughing 2 seconds after I took this picture!).

Bubbs

Landon is 4 1/2 months old! He loves his toes, his big sister, and anything related to eating, including rice cereal, which he started eating this month. This would also explain why he weighed in at 17 pounds at his 4 month checkup (95% for weight, 90% for height).
I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be able to kiss these cheeks everyday!

If only he could stay this way forever!
